At 70D the consequence of a body block that is too narrow is not transparency — it is a waistband that rolls and a gusset that sits below where it should.

This block is wider through the hip and thigh with a deeper gusset and a flat-seamed waistband that does not roll under its own tension.

Why this costs more than the regular size

Knitted on a separate wider block with a deeper gusset and more yarn through the body, in shorter runs. The difference in price is the difference in construction and nothing else.
