Identical denier to Sheer 15, finished so the yarn does not return light. Under the same lamp the matt version reads flatter and slightly darker even though the transparency measured against the leg form is the same.

This is the single largest source of confusion in the category: two pairs at the same denier can look very different, and finish is why. There is a side-by-side comparison of this exact pair against A-05 on the denier page.

Snagging

At 15D the yarn is fine and catches easily on rings, nails and rough seating. A tighter knit at 70D resists snagging better than at 15D, but no tights are snag-proof.
